Well what a day! We were out the door by 8:30ish. Stopped in the Dalles to see Jess and the grandchildren. It was so good to see them. The kids are growing so much. We then headed east in the sweltering heat. Thank god for AC. It's been a while since I've seen the east side of Oregon. It is absolutely beautiful. We landed at Wallowa Lake State Park at 5:00. ... upscale Goodwill store—It feels like an upscale consignment shop, and didn’t find anything I liked or could afford! I did get 6 pair of trouser socks—for $4.
