Had a relaxed start to the day and went for a drive south along the coast. It is another super day with few clouds and no pollution. A little chilly, but the clear skies would account for that. Had a look around Redondo Beach then drove over the Palos Verdes penninsula to see the sights. Got as far as Trump National Golf Course which proclaimed itself as the best golf course in California - sounds ...

... off there and wondered around the pier and shops. It was just as you'd imagine, you couldn't escape the smell of frying onions and candy floss. It was pretty quiet with just a few people riding the riggety rides - you wouldn't have caught Dais or I on them just in case - you know to minimise risk of harm. So we kept it safe and walked around the edge admiring the views out onto the ocean. Santa Monica is quite a fashionable place to be but it was ...

When we had exhausted our meter time, we braved the LA traffic and headed to meet up with our tour guide for the weekend, the one and only Alex de Monet. That night, ...

... what happened but at one point the lifeguards kicked into action and I noticed a woman sat on the beach and as I turned round there were two lifeguard vehicles behind/next to me and I had no idea cause I'd fallen asleep. It then all happened with three trucks, an ambulance, a lifeguard boat and two fire engines. In the end I don't think they needed anything other than an ambulance but it was so funny to see how overboard they went. I still don't know what happened but it livened ...

It was our first full day in Los Angeles and we had theme parks on our mind so we headed to Universal Studios.

We caught the train from our accommodation and luckily enough it was only one station away so we were there in no time. We arrived at around 10.30 but by the time we had waited in line to purchase our ticket we got in not long after 11. We thought we would hit the rides up first to try and beat the lines. First of the agenda was ...
