... Saucer right across the way. $3 pints for all Missouri Beers, why not. It was what I would call a gagillion degrees outside so we did not head to the game till they were singing the anthem.

Our seats were padded so comfortable and extra sweaty, but quite nice. Since it was such a scorcher we did an inning on and off approach. One in the seats and then the next cruising the hallways looking around.

10/8/12 Drove down to St Louis and found Kirkwood, where I am staying for the next 4 nights. It's a lovely suburb and very affluent. The apartment is on the ground floor, thank goodness for that, had enough of stairs with my ankle, which by the way, is very much better although still in a brace thingy. The only down side is it is right next door to a freight train line and my goodness they are loud, but a small price to pay for such a lovely home. The host ...
