Getting home was a bit of work.........
We dropped the rental car off in San Diego and headed to the terminal. We were plenty early, cleared security, and had a bit to eat. Our flight was on time and we arrived in Dallas with a little more than an hour between our flights. We had to basically cross the airport diagonally. Dallas is a huge airport and things are a long way apart. We arrived at our gate with a half hour to spare.
We arrived in Manchester, Tennessee and found the Old Stone Fort campground/park. We traveled deep into the woods and had a whole loop to ourselves since all the Labor Day campers had left. The site was above the river and to level it they had made a thick asphalt pad. It was so thick, ...
... hot day we spend a lot of time swimming until it got cooler at sun set. There where no Mosquito’s there so a great evening around a fire was had. After another stop at Wal Mart the next night we arrived at Lorettas place on Wednesday evening. Lots of things have changed since we where here three month ago. There is a big Spar pool in the making a new shed for all the equipment and pumps and a lot of forest being cleared for a double garage next spring. Time passes ...

Sunday, June 22nd, while out hiking in Tennessee, we drove through McMinnville, TN and when I saw this STUNNINGLY GORGEOUS CHURCH...I had to stop...I get so darn excited when I find these Massive and Romanesque.
