    I had planned to cross at St Stephen so I could pass by the chocolate factory, but the road actually goes directly to the new crossing and I did not realize I had to take the exit.

    Highway 9 was open and clear. The view of the wild blueberry fields in the fall is quite beautiful as all the plants turn bright red.

    I drove almost 1,000 Km's today and when I stopped, the ground kept moving.

    After a total transit time of 23 hours from door-to-door, and losing a day because I crossed the dateline, I have arrived in downtown Auckland at my hostel.
