As we crossed over into the State of Massachusetts, (ok, from here forth it's going to be referred to as Massa as it's too long a word to keep writing and I'm bound to mis-spell it at some point!)
So as we crossed over into Massa, most things remained the same, the rolling hills, the pretty houses and the winding country roads.

... good service, very nice man, looks like a nice marina in case anyone is in the area! Troy Federal Lock was the only one without hanging ropes, we had to loop our lines around a pipe instead. After the last lock we hit tidal waters.... time to pay attention and plan our runs accordingly from now on. ... very tiny, and a Groundhog at the edge of the garden who loved the fallen apples, of which there were many-no wonder it had a fat rear end..... They also have been visited by the odd bear but we didn"t see one.
