Hotellin respa ja aamiaistilat on remontoitu tyylikkäästi ja tarjolla on pullovettä, kahvia, teetä ja pikkuleipiä kaikkina vuorokaudenaikoina. Virkailija on avulias vaikka tekee tuplavuoroa. Aamusella lähdemme ajamaan Routea eteenpäin ja vartin sisällä löydämme itsemme valokuvaamasta 50-luvun tyyliin sisustettua dineria. Samalla yliravitsemme …

The trail is no longer as popular due to the distance you need to travel from the village and it has not been as finely maintained. However ...

On the road again!

... into California, we didn’t see a Welcome to California sign. Leaving California, we didn’t see a Leaving California sign. Today, we saw the Arizona state line and the welcome sign.

I packed our lunch, so it was on the road again, as Willie Nelson would say. We had dinner at the Hualapai Resort Restaurant about 12 miles up the mountain from Kingman. Sunset was at 6:14pm, and our reservation was at 7pm, so ...
