Here at the casa fig, on lazy days, we entertain ourselves. No matter how silly, I really think its important to laugh and have fun with yourself. Or Mike's self. Either way, yea. We're leaving soon to Florida. We're going to drive Amelia all the way there so wish us luck. And we're gonna stop and visit Louie in Texas along the way. Giddy up.

The other night, me and Paul went to the local mall - over here shops are open til 9/10pm every night which is great, why can't it be like that in the UK, it'll give the chavs somewhere to go other than hovering on street corners! Talking of chavs, you don't get them here, yay! Well, go into a bad part of LA and you get gang members which is slightly worse, but in your average Orange County mall the worst you'll get is a bunch of pre-teens sipping their ...

Off to drive through the baking hot Mojave desert to Vegas in a minute, Paul's taking his laptop and Luxor has free broadband so I'll try update at some point inbetween the gambling, partying and eating. I can't wait - I've never spent my birthday in a desert and never had 30c weather for it either... bring on being 25!

... visit though was the fireworks!! What an amazing sight! Nothing like the pitiful displays we see home!! Tinkerbell was flying back and forth across the sky above Sleeping Beauty's Castle, it was pretty impressive. ... of the week. Another highlight would have to be the conversations during yesterday morning's breakfast service on the streets. Not just that I was able to realize I have my first friend from the Row (which I'll get into later), but also because I realized how great the service is since I missed one day of it. Here I sit in Combo's Pizza and Deli, on Hollywood Boulevard. In addition to Pizzas and Gyros, they have an internet outlet. It is 4.35pm on March 2nd 2006. In a few hours I begin the 15 hour flight back home to Melbourne, Australia. I arrive at 11.20am on March 4th. Apparently March 3rd doesn't exist for me this year. I lose it somewhere near Hawaii.
