... fire hydrant painting in dalamation colours. Happy to report we did not see either one! Arrived to our rv site for the evening in Beaumont since it was a long days drive, compliments of Walmart. Had a wonderful no peak chicken dinner prepared non other by amazing sister in law. Went into Walmart for a few things and sat outside with our lawn chairs to enjoy the mild and bug free evening. Big Bend National Park was another unexpected surprise for us. Like Death Valley, it was not on our original list of planned stops.
