      We slept to about 7:30am and we were on the road by 8am. We took the interstate 80 West to Reno then the 580 South and turned off onto highway 431 to Incline Village at Lake Tahoe. We drove to Davis for 8 hours, rested up for the ceremony that took place in the Pavilion on campus, and readied ourselves for the moment I had been waiting for for quite some time.
