From our overnight at Lake Hubbard, we drove to Dallas to the George W. Bush Presidential Library, a request from Jimmy. EXCELLENT choice- so interesting, from the first exhibit about the American pastime of baseball ( and ALL the Presidents involvements), to the Response to 9-11 exhibit, and the Oval Office reproduction. ... USA. Thankfully the worst we got was getting soaked making a run for the car during a 5 minute window when the storm eased off. Needless to say the cattle drive was cancelled, we were both pretty gutted about that. We drove back to Dallas in the rain, but as it eased up a little as we got back we decided to go up Reunion tower in downtown Dallas.
