Fall Leaf Cruise on the Tennessee River
... the beautiful day and the scenic Tennessee River. We saw wild turkeys, deer, blue herons & turtles along the river banks. The main course on the buffet okay; the turtle cheesecake, however, was delectable! But we weren't there for the food. We were there for the scenery! And we were not disappointed. This is a relaxing way to enjoy Chattanooga's piece of the Tennessee River.

I spent the day traveling highway 64 West from Hendersonville, North Carolina with Delaine from Ohio. ... river for the night. The water was way too cold for swimming. Took the west fork river trail to get there which was a scenic and remote trail that was much more appropriate for mountain biking. It was an uncomfortable ride but enjoyable in the sense that we were in the middle of nowhere in waist high greens with hundreds of butterflies and weaving streams and mountains.
Headed in to the greenbrier river trail the following days which was much more suitable for road ...
