... the Wildlife Trail in Custer State Park again as we left the area this morning. Our hopes were that we would see more buffalo than the lonely only we saw yesterday! Before going into the park, we stopped for fuel for which we paid $3.69/gal. Shortly after going into the park, we did indeed see some wildlife...a small herd of prong horn antelopes were munching their breakfast in a meadow along the road. Since breakfast sounded like a good idea by this time, ...

      Day 6

Today started with Tyler and I going to Jewel Cave National Monument. When we got there, we found out they had an elevator broken so we couldn't do the tour we were planning to do. We decided to do the Historic Lantern tour instead. This one was kinda cool because you carried these oil lanterns and walked in through the old historic entrance. They told us it was more strenuous and that you climb ladders, and we ...

... where it really happened. We walked past both places, so I guess we covered that. It’s a cool town. I’ve heard it compared to Tombstone, but we used to live 20 minutes from Tombstone and they are really different to me. Tombstone is more like the southwest and this seems more like a wild west gambling town. They’re both really cool. We walked over to Mt. Moriah cemetery and saw the tombstones of Wild Bill ...
