... eyes on each other. Dave was his usual effervescent self, whilst Lois was still sharp as a tack - and both in amazing shape for 81years of age! Dave offered to take us out onto the water for a tour of the Newport waterways, and we were soon out in his little runaround, mixing it amongst some of the most beautiful houses (and incredible moored boats) we had ever seen. ... Mullholland Drive, the Hollywood Hills, the Hollywood sign, Rodeo Drive and Beverley Hills amongst other places. Wow, what a city of contrasts. When you cross the street from Venice Beach into Santa Monica, the difference is almost like going from one country to another! Venice Beach is an 'interesting' place, to say the least.
