The next day we headed to the coastal town of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. This is one of the talked about beaches with the locals and is popular with fisherman and sun chasers. We stayed at the Myrtle Beach RV Park, which is by far the biggest RV Park we had stayed at, with over 850 sites and its own waterpark and RV shop. ... lunch, between storms, we managed 2 geocaches and then on the way back from the last one, I almost stepped on a snake. It turns out the snake was hopelessly stuck in a fishing net. Dex decided to save it and I reluctantly helped. With a good bit of difficulty and fear, we finally freed the snake. I just hope the good deed will come in handy some day if we encounter another less helpless snake!
