... t so good for my return itinerary. Hopefully, Sarah will be in Indianapolis for New Years and we will be together again there. We didn’t exactly pass each other in the night, but close. Just as I was crossing from Colorado into Nebraska, they were passing from Nebraska into Colorado, but I was on a route that went about 50 miles south of the route they were on. JJ spent some time with Grandpa digging a trench and laying conduit to reroute the electric wire across a gate opening. He enjoyed his time being helpful. Grandpa even let him drive the 4-wheeler out in the pasture.

... some hot dogs and I had a Dr. Pepper and a Twin Bing candy bar too. JJ and JP sang Happy Birthday to me and all the kids made personalized cards.

Grandpa and I went out on the 4-wheeler to survey damage in the pastures and then piled everyone in his pickup to drive the roads and see the damage. There is a lot of water in the low spots and the roads will take a lot of repairing. Some of his crops are under water and some of the pasture fences are down and must be ...
