we took the ferry to Mackinac Island today. It was a beautiful day!! Mackinac Island has no cars and the only way to get around the island is by bike or a horse drawn carriage. The bike traffic reminded us of Amsterdam on a small scale. It is fun to see families on bikes getting around the town. ... is on Lake Huron, and is really the dividing point between the upper peninsula and the lower peninsula of Michigan. We have now seen Lake Superior, Lake Michigan and Lake Huron.
We are having a wonderful trip, the dogs are having fun and the truck and the camper are doing great!!

... Lighthouse, where the boys and Dex climbed to the top and Maggie and I walked the beach along Lake Superior. Driving further to Paradise, MI and then to Tahquamenon Lower Falls, where we hiked thru a million mosquitoes to view the falls.
