We got here from Miramar Beach about 2 today. The park is another live in place but not at all trashy. The spot we are in turned out to be nice. One whole side in facing green space. Mickey loved it! We made a run to Costco for supplies for Atlanta and the girls coming to visit us! Is that wishful thinking? Costco was empty! Had a wonderful meal at a Mexican restaurant El Amigo! The best tamales ever!! ...

Food - Dothan Waffle House - thumbs up - as good as we have become accustomed ...

Tuesday, January 10 (Mum's birthday - she would have been 86), we drove from Appalchicola, Florida to Panama City at up route 231 to Wetumpka, Alabama, which is just north of Montogmery, Alabama's capital and first Confederate capital in the Civil War. At Wetumpka we stayed with Barbara's niece, Sarah (daughter of sister Donna) her husband Jason and sons Alex and Nathan. We enjoyed chatting during the afternoon, eating at the Catfish Restaurant tasting ...

        Summing Up

So it's over. We leave today. When I first signed up for this I thought two weeks wouldn't be enough. And it's not enough for the clients. This is far from over and they still need help. But it's enough for me, for now. Keep in mind, it's not a standard forty hour work week. It's twelve to sixteen hour shifts of physically and emotionally draining work and there are no weekends and sometimes no gratitude. But I will do it again without question. I have learned a lot. Some about ...
