Today we spent the day travelling from Canada to America. We spent the first part of our drive watching Love Actually while we were travelling through Canada and when we crossed the border and made our way into America, we went through Buffalo in New York State and Pennsylvania. As we crossed the boarder we had Born in the USA playing loudly in the coach as well as other 'American' songs to welcome us back into the country. ...
... we felt right at home! There is also a sports stadium and Science Museum in the same locality.
An early evening supper at a local restaurant, dining on the patio overlooking a small river, we continued to enjoy J&T’s company. We had taken two cars, the girls in the yellow bug, as the boys wanted to head out to the airfield to check over the EZ before we moved on. We really enjoyed our stay and were made very welcome – thanks Jan and Terry.
... we head further down to Holmes County, which is not the oldest (that's in Pennsylvania) but the largest (40,000) Amish community in the US. When we meet the first few buggy carts (pulled by a horse) on the streets we know we have arrived.

We were supposed to leave around 8 last night but Ron called and told JP to wait so that he could fill the last bit of space in the trailer with something from the warehouse. I opted to go sleep in the Kmart parking lot (I was already all unpacked in the truck) but Kmart kicked us out....they used to be truck friendly but now they "have new policies." ...

For some, this strikes terror in your heart, but for us, it is pure excitement. The trip will literally plan itself as we go. The locals will make suggestions, and we will book tickets and make plans. When we love an area, we will stay longer, and move on when we become bored.
