... took off, so for the majority of the trip, we had to watch "Guardians of the Galaxy" on a screen 30cm away from our faces that angled towards our chests. It's amazing how ignorant other people can be to the comfort of others, especially us tall ones who are pressed for knee room as it is. I hope they enjoyed the whole metre of space they got in front of them! They weren't even awake to enjoy it.

... the roller coaster several times while it wasn't too busy. They tried to convince me to go on it but it didn't appeal yo me at all. Too fast and upside down.....�� I don't think so!
one of the areas of the park was Radiator Springs Cars Land, we all really enjoyed this, especially the " Cars" ride. You actually end up racing in the car against another. We went on this together a couple of times and won ...

... to teach us how to be princesses (Ok...) We headed out to find tea. The fireworks show was the next and second to last thing for the day and it was spectacular, lasting for at least 15 minutes over the Disney castle with all colours, shapes and sizes of fireworks in time to the music. We thought that Disney California's World of Colour would have to be incredible to beat it, but more on that later! After the fireworks the huge crowd (several thousand strong) headed ...

... at Santa Monica and drove to Disneyland Hotel via a shop the girls had seen advertised somewhere ( no idea where, maybe online or in some America kids magazine). Anyway, it's called "American Girl" and basically sells all sorts of girl dolls and outfits. My idea of something close to hell but they loved it. So did Dawn. Managed to talk Ruby (and Dawn) out of the $110 ...
