When the game finished at the Bridgestone Arena, I made my way with the crowds to Broadway to meet Julie and Sandy. Broadway is the main music / bar street in Nashville... akin to Bourbon, Frenchmens, Beale, etc. It is heaving with people and now hockey fans, but I spot them relatively easy at the side of the road.

16 .23 Well finally we are here. The place I secretly thought was going to be my highlight of the trip. The shuttle bus in from the hotel dropped us right around the corner from The Ryman Auditorium, original home off the Grand Ole Opry and birthplace of bluegrass. Every significant country singer dreamt of playing there and felt they'd made it when they did. I really liked this spot and I would go here again..The prices were right, staff friendly and quick and menu looked adequate...next time will have to try some actual food...lol !!!

... folk love to come out and play. It's a much bigger scale than Memphis or even New Orleans. The Main Street called Broadway goes on and on with country music venues, all lit up with neon lights. The sidewalks are a throng of people, all ready to dance and drink the night away.
