      ... and I never got used to the humidity. I found the woods to be very dense and kind of creepy, but loved the fireflies. I have never seen as many football-field-size front lawns as I did around Nashville. John Deere must sell lots of riding mowers there. I had also never seen such huge neighborhood fireworks displays as I did on the 4th of July. They rivaled some put on by towns.

      ... the outside. What's nice about this area is that The Parthenon is located in a huge green park. There's a pond, people having picnics, and snow cone vendors! We got snow cones for $2.50. It was definitely a nice way to cool off from the summer sun beating down on us.
