- The Palo Verde is not only the Arizona State Tree, but also the easy recognizable little tree with the green colored trunk and branches
- the fruit Chain Cholla is the Cactus with the big fruits hanging down and looking like the Teddy bear cactus in tree form
- the prickly pear cactus is a total different one with the flat pear looking 'leaves'
