... but a darn sight cheaper than cabs.

Breakfast at the Plaza was both luxurious and scrumptious. A total oasis of calm, quiet respectful service and the best steak and eggs I have ever eaten.

Rhys persuaded me to visit Victoria Secrets to buy some product (creams and shower gels not clothes). A complete assault on my senses, far too much pink for my tastes. I am just about recovered.

On Sunday we enjoyed a jazz brunch cruise around the Hudson River from pier 40 to Brooklyn Bridge, back out to the Statue of Liberty and back into pier 40. All up around three hours on the boat. It was a fantastic experience. A great brunch buffet was on offer; eggs, bacon, grits, sweet stuff. Plus some yummy dessert items for afters; donuts, chocolate coated strawberries, cheesecake. Yum.

... Less than an hour later my mobile phone rings, a true rarity when overseas, especially this as it was a +44 number... Great Britain. Today was a supermarket breakfast and a relaxed morning before heading out to experience Broadway. We had bought tickets before we left Australia, and had chosen to see 'The Lion King.' We headed off in the nicest clothes we had, pretty excited to see such an awesome musical.

... 8220;animals” that go across the stage in every direction. The costuming to make one believe there were elephants, rhinos, gazelles, etc. was amazing. Exhaustion began to set in toward the end of the performance because of the packed day. Even still, I enjoyed every bit of the play.
