It took about 2 hours to go over the mountain and we arrived at about 5.30pm at the ryokan (Japanese inn). By the we made up the futons and got ourselves ready, it was time for dinner. Shigeki's favourite restaurant in the area was a beer hall restaurant serving fusion food. The only reason was not for the food but for the beer.

Only relying on public transportation means we have to spend much time traveling from one place to another. We had to take two buses, in between transfer 30-min waiting, to get to our next stop, bat's cove. The cove was really like a secret base underground. The onsen we can enjoy for the first time together and this is a perfect cure for our muscles to recover. There is even a refridgerator with beer available.
In our Yukata we are seated in the dining room and enjoy a great dinner and we take another bath before we retire.
