... wonderful, creamy fat of the foie Gras. It was YUMMO!!! We then had a small piece of cooked sea bass on Israeli cous cous with confit of red onion and served with a mustard emulsion.

The next dish we enjoyed was lobster in a beautiful cream sauce with celeraic and Pumpkin bouillon with lemon and cardamom flavors. We then had a beautiful dish of pigeon wrapped in a spinach souffle, spread with a thin layer of foie Gras. With this dish ...

    Luxembourg.

It is quite remarkable that Basel
has three main train stations, the Swiss and the French at the same location
and a German one a few hundred meters away.
Needless to say tomorrow we depart from the French one.

... little village only to find it was fully booked out! The owner tried to explain where another restaurant was 10kms down the road but that was rather confusing. Back to Lia again and the nearest place she took us to had obviously closed down so we gave it another try and ended up in a little place somewhere. The meal was wonderful and went down a treat after looking for so long. Managed to get back to Pareid and our ...
