Then of course the day would not have been complete without having the special eclairs that Nicaela had purchased earlier in the day on her walking expedition! These we had with tea/coffee back at the hotel. They were: vanilla, salted caramel, chocolate and passion fruit. A generous serve of fish for both is between A$ 15 and 50, salad greens are about A$4 a kg and a 5kg mixed bag of fruit and vegetables cost us A$16 at the fresh markets. Stopped for evening drinks at our corner cafe and returned for Meg's Lotte saute avec pommes de terre et salsa, salade beterave et ...

Friday 9/26 - Since we had no specific sightseeing plan for Friday morning, we decided to sleep-in and have a late breakfast. We also wanted to hang around the hotel so we could print out our boarding passes for our flight home.

We left the hotel around 12:30 and hopped on the Metro. Destination: The Arc de Triomphe and the Champs-Elysees. It was a beautiful, bright, sunny afternoon in ...
