Yerevan, Armenia kulula... bar, popř. fast food, ale nakonec jsme zavítali do Mantashoff, Beer house since 2004. Měli vlastní sklenice, vlastní tácky a Dolda začal pít tupláky Kotayiku. Dolda a Petr si dali lasagně a Lukáš dobré hovězí se zeleninou a bramborovou kaší. Byli jsme vyhozeni v půlnoci a po menší rozepři, kam jít dále a procházce nočním městem, při které Petr trochu řádil, jsme odešli domů a šli spát.
Garni, Kotaykʼ, Armenia mandelbrot... 269;ku a vyznačená místa
- Tak třetina aut co jsme s nima jeli měla prasklý přední sklo (a jako žádný ďupky jako u nás)
- Jestli jsme viděli Arménce něco hrát, tak to vždycky byly vrchcáby
- Spusta Armének nosí kozačky a jsou dost vyzáblý (až nehezky) i v obličeji
- V sámošce se tu dá kromě dalších značek koupit Plzeň, Gambáč, Budějovice a dokoce Kozlík :-)
Yerevan, Armenia mandelbrot... 8220;tut» also in two colors – white and black.

There are a few holdays in summer – International Children's Day (1 June), Vardevor (everybody's pouring water at each other). La Fête de la Musique is a new holiday it is celebrated already the 3rd year! It's very fun, this is a day for free concerts. All the country is full with melody that day. Especially it is good to be in ...
Yerevan, Yerevan, Armenia eleoshka... get into a little routine of noodles and eggs, fruits and vegs, cheese and bread. I get way caught up on Internet and write another album review for the mother blog. Finally I even take a 'village tour' to see the master duduk maker and drink some homemade vodka. We eat lunch out there, but it's no great shakes cuisine-wise, mostly variations on bread and diary, our common Indo-European heritage, if there is such a thing. Every thing's ...
Yerevan, Armenia hardiek... the brownish see dotted by rare green spots of vegetation. We even stop for some wine tasting and couple of minutes later also at some restaurant to order lunch (not inclusive). And then the bus starts to climb an unearthly beautiful canyon towards Noravank. And even more fun, the new tire explodes again;). Now the organised tour starts to disorganize. Some people go furious and the guide wants to return down to the restaurant (which is quite a way for the old people however), while the ...
Yerevan, Armenia mys... that they were authentic. They really look Russian there, probably because they were part of Russia way back and got independence recently. I never got to read their history, but a lot of influence from the Soviet Republic is left. The taxi ride was amazing. it was one of the craziest taxi ride of my life! The driver was smoking and talking a lot even though i couldn't understand most of what he said. I didnt mind his cigarette because I smoked too ...
Yerevan, Armenia wolf007... Indonesia and this is where we met Carlos. Cheryl after the trip had left to join the Peace Corp and was sent to Yeravan where she was still stationed. Due to the fact that she was there we had no choice but to stop and say hello. So here we were crossing the border from Georgia into Armenia and dreaming about the big city life. As with every border crossing up to this point as soon as we arrived it started to rain. The border here was nothing more ...
Yerevan, Armenia travelingtony... speak the language. BUG ALERT Who said there are no roaches in Yerevan? I saw a big black one in our brand new hostel bathroom. Needless to say I began to have images again, like in Asia, of these insects crawling in my bed while I couldn't sleep at night. For the record, we didn't even see any on the streets so it was definitely a one-time sighting. LANDSCAPE Ahh, the beautiful country of Armenia, mountains/hills, and our Ararat Mountain, of course... :)
Yerevan, Armenia john_anita... a life of instability in an orphanage! We were then able to share the shoeboxes with these little ones. For me, one of the best moments at the orphanage was seeing the joyful expression on the face of a little blind boy when we tickled hi face with a soft stuffed dog. He seemed to love it, and I know I loved watching his face light up each time we would hand that toy back to him. All too soon, we were rushed off to dinner at a pizza restaurant. I felt that we could have ...
