    ... the Occupation Museum. It was well laid out, obviously in chronological fashion. There were descriptions in English, complimented by photographs and paraphrenalia gathered over the decades. The detail was not so overwhelming that you would lose interest. It was an hour or so well spent.

    Went to a church behind St Peter's for exterior shots. I only later found out it was St John's Church.

    ... 4 hour bus journey deposited us at the main bus station at Vilnius. We then caught the local bus out to Trakai and the bus driver dropped us at the front door of the 4 star Spa Resort of Trasilis. Yes, we are true high end clients - smelly backpackers getting the local bus to arrive dusty and disarrayed at the best joint in town. Steve then took advantage of the hydro slide and spa pools within the complex. The last time he took a hydro slide was circa 1986. What a hoot!

    ... catching our bus back to the hotel to get our gold-plated (I wish) laundry. We finished one gorgeous city and onto the next, we drove into Vilnius on the 25th of july and only had one night here, so we had to make the most out of the afternoon.     ... luggage for real souvenirs we attained our custom keepsake. A magnet and lowest local currency note, as we do in each country.Feeling better by now, I even thrashed out a good gym session with Nat on the boat.
