Have to check out this morning at 8.00 and then a leisurely breakfast before docking at 9.45. Flight leaves at 11.30 and with a change of planes at Oslo we arrive back at Heathrow at 4.30 - weather permitting! It seems it has been a bit windy in the UK. Glad ...

Port Call 14:15 - 15:15 Hurtigruten Museum

A travel blog entry by royston4040

Inger had a walk planned for this stop but we decided on a visit to the Hurtingruten Museum.
A wirlwind tour was very interesting which included a visit to a dry docked 1950's company ship. Didn't have time to find the radio room (where they used Norse Code?) let alone the engine room.

Then then clouds rolled in again.

Was eventually liberated by the Russians. All the buildings were burnt by the retreating Germans.
Road and paths were very icy on the walk several slipped down, we and some others decided to turn ...

No doubt about it, we were both ill as you can get, after a city of hardly any sleep and constant abuse of our bodies. I was coughing my lungs out, leading to sneezing fits to be finished up by a flourish and trumpet. Snot factories, the both of us.
We got off the train to be ID'd for the first time. The ...
