Our adventure in Russia started haltingly. We intended to rendezvous at the gate at New York's JFK airport on July 9. Phone calls came in from two sets of travelers as my daughter, Dani, and I were waiting in line to check in. One had a weather delay, coming out of Denver, the other was stuck in traffic en route to the airport.

Having notified FinnAir staff of these delays when we checked in, we headed for the gate. ...

... technically good dancers. I would have liked to see the Bolshoi ballet as this was a very small production so it was not as spectacular as my expectations, but still a lovely night out. Our last full day in Russia was basically spent driving from 9:30am to 9pm from Moscow to Velikiye Luki in Russia. We got caught up in a bad traffic accident where a truck had tipped on its side and it didn't help the roads were pretty bad, I am glad my decision to wear a sports bra was made. ...
