          Dear all,

The latest voyage on my journeys following the Irish team takes me to a land where the locals speak poor English, where the roads and infrastructure are decrepit and crumbling, where it seems to rain almost non-stop. No, not Longford, I'm in Moldova.

It was the first time that Ireland have faced Moldova in international …

We saw a working water wheel, it produces some electricity, and visited a wine cellar where there was an old bottling machine. There are still two gate towers remaining from the old town wall. Much of the stone in the buildings is a lovely soft golden sand stone. When we climbed up the covered walkway to the castle tower D counted 318 steps. Got a ...

I'm glad I like to arrive places early. So in theme of my spacing out I almost missed my train tonight. I had the time 8 something in my head. I thought that was when the train left but that was the time the next morning I was getting in. So I arrived to the train station with what I thought plenty of time to spare. Nope the train was leaving at 740. So I grabbed some fast food and a bottle if water for the journey ...
