Thank you all so much for your prayers for safe travel. God was gracious and we arrived with all our luggage (19 bags!) and a minimum of discomfort from airplane food and leg space. :)

... So after only 1 night we decided to move on towards Kulunda, the Russian side of the Russian to Kazakh border. We arrived at around 4.30 and thought we drive to the border to see what time they opened the next day. Once there we greeted with open arms and much to our surprise after only 30 minutes we were in Kazakhstan!!
What a contrast to our previous experience.
