Tonight's dinner features Ukrainian dishes and tonight's entertainment is traditional and folk tunes. We usually fall asleep before the evening's entertainment begins but this evening we managed to stay awake for the whole show. This is the first time we have heard the full trio play; we aren't night owls.

... the stove in her house and how it kept the whole house warm. I know that Grandma did not live in such a hut but the wood stove served the same purpose.

All in all, this was one of the best tour days on the cruise. Zaporozhye is not really a tourist destination, not like the other places we have visited, and yet Viking did an excellent job of bringing together the highlights of the city. It was well balanced and well-timed.

A whole year passed. But my last week I had no time to feel sad. I need to rent my room, to close all accounts, to pass German exam, to send some stuff by post (awful Deutsche Post), to pack, and to say everybody bye-bye. I was lucky with company so I can skip last days. Also I got great friends taking care of me – on Friday and Saturday Alex and Isi cooked wonderful dinner for us.
