... us busy for awhile while waiting for the ferry to depart. I created a list of 20 items that I had noticed in the ship graveyard that included a ladder, a matchbox, dead snakes, and a 5 pointed star. With this list, 7 of the other passengers went on a digital camera scavenger hunt and a couple others without cameras also played along. It was a great way to waste an hour.

... the Caspian was one of the most unpredictable events we have done on the trip so far. There was a mad rush out of the hotel in taxi’s (we actually got a London cab in Azerbajian!) to then only wait for a few more hours once at the port. The control was completely in the hands of the ferry crew and border control as to when we could leave Azerbaijan and cross the sea.
