... driver had just rung to say that he was under the crane waiting for the container to be loaded but he had been advised by the Port authorities that they were going to load the containers onto the train before loading onto trucks. So, this meant more waiting. But we went down to a café and had a coffee and at least we got to wait indoors.

receptionist of yet another Soviet era hotel to call with customs to
ask if it's correct that I don't have an immigration card with my
