Started to walk back popped into shopping centre for a card, nothing else. Walked a bit further but it got too much for Rob so we got the tram back to surfers paradise and had dinner before we started back as journey took about an hour and a half, go home at 10.

there were wee pademelons (round macropods like smaller, chubbier
wallabies). They were precious as they bounced like little spring

the rest of us set up camp on the square, level sand area meant for

One of the pilots jumped on board at one stage to try and sell us a flight over the island, but nobody was keen, which was a bit awkward. We visited the largest lake on the island, Lake McKenzie, and got to stand-up paddle board in its crystal clear waters for a few hours, which was really fun. I did make a fool of myself, though, when I decided to try and pick ...

A taxi ride from the airport is always an adventure in itself. I strongly suspect they say good here is another 'fulung' or foreigners and the price triples. At the taxi counter they show out a written chart to show you the official price so you don't argue a price ! Very clever for the tired unsuspecting tourist and inflates their earnings by 500% ...
