    ... was full with Mercedes, BMWs, Audis from some distances away. I took some photos around the airfield for nostalgic purposes. The arena and curling rink at Baden appear to be operating as well. The former PMQ patch is a going concern. We had hoped to have lunch in Hugelsheim at either the Schwann or the Hirsch but both are temporarily closed. We had a great meal at the Grunner Baum across from the Schwann. We have been seeing a lot of such temporary closures. ...

    ... museum ...well, not Al...but I only wanted to go to the shop...our guide last time and this time said don't miss it and they were right. Nothing we can't get in the states but it's a local tradition and the chocolates are DELICIOUS!! nice...I have treats to share!!

    We arrived in Cologne at noon, and after another delicious lunch we headed off on a tour of the city, which is dominated by the Cologne Cathedral. One word for the Cathedral - WOW!!! Us Catholics sure know how to spend the peasants money!!...:-)

    ... at it were very good. We later used them to ask were we could buy stamps for some postcards we had bought.

    We then used the second day of our bus tickets to get to the 2 museums we had decided on - not art or Roman history, but chocolate and sports. (We got lotsa culture eh?)
