... bins, because they live three storeys up, and it would be hard to put them out on garbage night. So at intervals on the street there is a small green bin, into which you pop your plastic bag of rubbish. If you see my photo, the green bin sits on a metal slab about three metres square. When the garbo comes along, he attaches a crane onto the green bin, and as he lifts it, up comes the bin, the metal plate to which it is firmly welded, and this huge metal ...

Mum's good influence didn't last long when she inferred that we have a beer. Maybe that's an even better influence! We also saw an old bloke riding his bike in just his underwear there. Only in Amsterdam! It got worse with Mum and Dad too, when Dad suggested we go for a stroll through Fondle Park. What the **** am I still doing here? I want out, ...

... canal for some breakfast. On the way, Daniel and I decided that to fit in, we should make up a word that sounds Dutch and put it in our sentences when talking to Dad. Our made up Dutch word is 'schlaucheijkn', which is pronounced 'shlaken', but I feel to be a justifiably Dutch word it also needs to be spelt ridiculously. After we finished breakfast, we jumped on the tram that took us right into Amsterdam Centraal, got our tickets and headed off ...
