    ... Milan in the 19th century. It is now home to a series of museums and art collections. We passed through the central courtyard to and wandered through the extensive Parco Sempione, stopping to get up close to some local wildlife. Afterwards we headed back into the retail district for a spot of shopping before mixing it with the rush hour traffic on the trip back past Lago di Como to Morbegno.

    ... supplies came by boat. Garbage was being collected, mail delivered, goods and people transported so there was never a dull moment. When we arrived in Venice Greg gave each of us a 72 hour vaporetto ticket but I didn't use mine as I walked everywhere so it wasn't validated and was still useable so I gave it back to Greg to give to our hotel host to use.
