... into the cathedral. Only cost 2 euros each and that gave us entry to the Cathedral and the Museum. There were also other options, but this seemed the easiest to start with. While we were waiting in line, a number of female tourists were turned away from the cathedral line because of their inappropriate dress. They are pretty strict at the door - no short shorts, dresses have to be only two fingers above the knee, no shoulders showing. It was all pretty funny - and ...

Another astonishing thing I learnt was that “trust” lacks when ...

... was still an awesome atmosphere but I was able to be on the fence and watch the riders as they negotiated a narrowing of the road. Since once they arrived in Milan they had to do several laps of the circuit I was able to really watch the race develop so it was quite a different experience to the one I had on stage 5 in Bagni di Lucca. I also got to see the decisive moment of the race (I'll say no more in case I spoil it for people)! After the race I went to ...

... understandable that the residents would not like their quiet piece of the world interrupted by noisy ferries several times a day! Luckily some of the people sitting in front of us had a guide book of the area so we could hear what some of the villas were. We passed by a majestic yellow villa with a stunning garden surrounding it. Apparently it was used in one of the recent James Bond movies. Have googled to find out which Daniel Craig ...
