    ... Milan in the 19th century. It is now home to a series of museums and art collections. We passed through the central courtyard to and wandered through the extensive Parco Sempione, stopping to get up close to some local wildlife. Afterwards we headed back into the retail district for a spot of shopping before mixing it with the rush hour traffic on the trip back past Lago di Como to Morbegno.

    ... but is still easier than the track down from the main road to the apartment. Wendy makes a fabulous salad and we take ourselves and the food and beer down to the garden where we enjoy an excellent lunch. The afternoon then is spent lounging around enjoying the sun and the view. Dinner we eat in - Liz has made spaghetti which is great and the wine we bought in Bellagio sets it off beautifully.     Today was the hottest yet and we saw over 31 C on the car thermometer, 34 by the roadside and it was almost too hot to walk about. Como is about 30 km away so we took a leisurely drive (well as leisurely as the roads and drivers would allow.
