Travel day! Yay! We were up pretty late packing since this was far more complicated than previous trips. The weather in Vancouver was in the 70s and sunny but we were planning on hiking on a glacier after all, so all the winter goods had to find their way into bags as well. All in all we left almost on time after dropping off the last furball with the Hartleys.

... we spot our first treat of the afternoon – a brand new 787 is have a test just near us! It’s even painted in Boeing livery, and we are lucky enough to grab a photo. Going inside, we ask the ticket desk what is going on – apparently, there have been test take offs and landings going on all week! So, we are lucky to be in the right place at the right time to get the photo!

A lively place with a good mixture of people and some singing fishermen. We stopped off at Starbucks, got a coffee and chilled out and people watched for half an hour or so.
