    Early start to the airport for the flight to Seattle. The freeway was very busy at 8.00, but had a lovely sunny morning to enjoy the scenery( I did), I think Nev was concentrating on the driving..
    Flight is at11.55.
    Carry on luggage, people were taking 2 or 3 bags for free, it is $25 for each checked bag. A lot more than you are allowed back home!

We are blaming the Nadi airport food! Monday night he was so sick he ended up in the ER because he was overly dehydrated! He ended up fighting a fever for 4 more days ...

    ... in the hallway, say hi as you pass each open roomette door, or share a table in the dining car. Everything was totally relaxed...actually a lot of fun, largely due to our car attendant. When we boarded the train, the car attendant came and cheerfully introduced herself as Veronica, and that if there were any questions or anything we needed, we were just to come see her. She turned out to be the type of person who soon is calling each of the passengers ...

    ... on tv, no one is watching it but there apparently has to be noise going 24/7. Maybe I'll try an experiment and smile at everyone that I see! Bring a little Maui nei to the Mainland!
