    Getting antsy now - one more day before we embark!

    ... REI. Got some really nice jackets and a few other items.

    We weren't able to catch the Germany vs. France match and by all accounts it was the most exciting of the cup so far. Fortunately friends were watching and kept us up to date. We did make it to the hotel in time to see the US beat China for a spot in the semi final.

    Now we're sorting through stuff to separate what needs to come with us to the Noordham and what stays in Ruby. Fun!

    ... It would be extremely easy to get lost down in there. I explored the market, watched the fish being thrown, found a small community garden on the top that had a great view of the harbor.     ... I bumped back into John we wandered around a bit and then headed back to the bus. So pleased I got to see this up close and touch this famous landmark.     ... ll have to make do with what we can see of it out our hotel window), and bumped into some people we shared our train carriage with from Datin, Ohio. We travelled back to our hotel on the monorail.

  • Tomorrow Howard does the Boeing factory and the museum of flight. I'll visit the Seattle Public Library, art gallery and shops. I've already noted where Macy's and Nordstroms are!
