How did I manage to make it to adulthood?

Our adventure begins with a very traffic-free drive down the M4 to Heathrow. After lots of chatting and swapping of sweets I realised that I had left something very important behind, on a chair in Whitchurch Primary School's staffroom. I had been very organised, surprising myself with my precision and attention to detail by arranging every ticket, ...

So of course she was absolutely not amused we had to leave the room in a hurry when they came ...

So we experienced our first overnight bus to get to Rainbow Beach to leave for Fraser Island. To be fair it wasn't horrendous, but it was by no means good. I would say it was definitely more at the end of horrendous. Verity would most certainly agree as she got so worked up knowing she couldn't sleep and all of us had dropped of that she even planned her wedding and worked out a reason why she would hate every single one of us.. Amazing what lack of sleep can do to you. ...

        The Wilds of Dowlais Top

There has been no let up from the howling winds & rain except for today which funnily enough has turned out to be okay. Dowlais Top & Gelligaer Common have no shortage of animals grazing the common land, here you'll see plenty of horses and of course Wales' favourite woolly companions....ahem...sheep. You'll also see cows up there and serve as a reminder of sunnier days spent in India...as our own cows here also believe they have the right to wander the ...
