... was one I will always treasure. We laughed and sang like brothers and sisters, and was taken care of like a mother would her son. I continue to count my lucky stars that I have people like Jacqueline in my life.

... this buffet was seriously impressive. It was a good way to sample a few exotic French delicacies (like snails) without having to sheepishly send back unfinished plates at a more conventional restaurant.

... city wall, which gives wonderful 360 degree views of the city, a couple of church/cathedrals and some pretty good places to eat as well. It's a nice getaway from the hustle and bustle of the big city. One thing I like about cities with beautiful old buildings such as Girona is that they spotlight the buildings when it gets dark, making the town very scenic to walk through at night.
