    ... 8217;t. They ask something about an appointment (I think; it was in Italian) and I hand over the name of the dentist I was told who worked here and reportedly spoke English.

    One of the woman gets a form – standard first admission I guess – and beckons me to follow.

    We go downstairs, spiral ones to boot, and she beckons a chair and says something like ‘a moment’.

    I wait about 4-5 minutes and she returns, and in English ...

    ... s, crazy parking (we never parked on a corner or double parked so we are clearly not locals!) snowy mountain roads and everything in between. I must admit, I was relieved to sign it back in. We have checked in at an Airport hotel tonight to save us having to drive through the "traffico intenso" tomorrow morning. It is almost goodbye Italy, for now ...

    ... that this whole day so far had been full of favourite artists and had culminated in perfection from two of the masters....a marvellous experience for anyone interested in art. Even without the special Leonardo exhibition the Ambrosiana is an art lovers dream.
