Bernerhof Hotel Interlaken

... We caught the train back to Interlaken, to catch the Golden Pass Panoramic train to Luzern- as it went along the lakes and over the mountains, it was truly very scenic. Arriving in Lucerne and after getting our bearings, we walked past the famous covered bridge to our hotel which was in the old part of town. We had gone all day thinking that it was Saturday but realised it was Friday when just before we went to bed, I checked the weather forecast for the next day. I also found out that it was going to rain most of the day, so we decided that maybe we should postpone our trip up to Lauterbrunnen.

... on adventure sports. Unfortunatly, we couldn`t afford to do anything cool like that. So whilst the rest of the group went off paragliding and canyoning, Tom and I took the cheap option and caught a train up to Lauterbrunnen, a small town up the mountain. ... raining. Re-evaluated and caught the cable car up to Bort then waited for the weather to clear and hiked back down the mountain. It really is spectacular even with the cloud cover and I can only imagine what it would be like on a clear day. The caught the train further down the mountain and walked from Winderswil to Interlarken via Lake Brinze. Only got a little bit wet and was nice to just wander around the lake.
