So I am back in Interlaken.... I just can't help it, it calls to me, it draws me here. And this time I here with my dad. So I could not ask for anything more. There is just so much to see and do here I don't ever feel like I have been here too much I just love it. I feel so comfortable here and am happy when I am here in the Swiss alps. Just love it. So for some more fun here, my dad and I went up to the Jungfrau here, called the "Top of Europe" at about 11,700 ft. where we were but the actua...
Interlaken, Swiss Alps, Switzerland indigosbFrom Venice to Interlaken we made 6 train stops, that's right, 6. One in Milan too which was really difficult to leave without buying anything labeled Dolce & Gabanna. But better things to come, right? YES! The views leading to Interlaken were incredible. The highest peaks, charming villages, green as far as the eye can see, and waterfalls from every mountain top. It's hard to believe that it's September here. We keep reminding ourselves that we need jackets and jeans to stay warm. Funny ...

Ausserbinn, Switzerland lesterenanne... of Gimmelwald. An excerpt from his travel book: <br><br>"The traffic-free village of Gimmelwald hangs nonchalangly on the edge of a cliff high above Lauterbrunnen Valley. This sleepy village has more cow troughs than mailboxes. Many travelers say, 'If Heaven isn't what it's cracked up to be, send me back to Gimmelwald.' Gimmelwald is a community in the rough. Take a walk- you can tour it in 15 minutes. Its two streets are a 700 year ...
Interlaken, Swiss Alps, Switzerland trockie... the lakes before we left! So after getting directions from reception to just follow the river, we headed off.<br><br>It was a cool but comfortable day and the river looked beautiful. It was a bit hard to follow though with a few construction projects going on around town and we hit a couple of dead ends. No big deal, it only added a few minutes to our journey.<br><br>At one point we went up at dead end street but it brought us to some of the cutest houses and in the front yard of one ...

Interlaken, Swiss Alps, Switzerland astre... our 3 coutries in one day fiasco! Liechtenstein is the smallest country in Europe! After lunch- we headed off to AUSTRIA! Midway Petey Pablo surprised us once AGAIN- He made a few calls and managed to get us into the Swarovski factory after closing hours so it was exclusively open for us!! Talk about BLING BLING! I decided to buy my mom birthday present here and ended up getting her some real beautiful jewelry a necklace and a pair of earrings as ...
Lucern, Switzerland laurascontiki... even after waiting an extra hour our train didn't have heat. It was worth it, though, since we drove through the beautiful snowy countryside (5). After several hours of train confusion, we arrived in Interlaken Saturday night. It's a really pretty town in the Alps, situated in a valley between two lakes. There's only one main street and a couple residential areas surrounded by huge, rocky, snowy mountains (town, 6, mountains, 8). It was ...
Interlaken, Switzerland voyageuse... in a similar manner as C-Span. The security of the Parliment is ridiculously tight. They have vistors come through a side entrance and have all of their bags and personal items checked into lockers. The only thing we were allowed to carry in was our passports. Kassahun couldn't even rbing his camera in to capture the amazing archetiture. After being checked by the guards, our group was divided in twos and threes to be slowly funneled into the building. One ...
