... We spoiled ourselves with macaroni, cheese, beef and the like, because this hotel actually had a full kitchen - be it a share kitchen or not, it meant good food. We also got a shock as we heard some dynamite blasts that evening. ... the 10 cents into the price... Fed, beat up but not beaten, we retreated to our hotel for rest and to make plans for next day’s adventures.
