Our route from Stockholm to Oslo was over 600km so we planned an overnight stop at Karlstad on the way. Inland from Stockholm Sweden is lake country, and so most of the towns we diverted to on the way had attractives waterfront areas.

About 3 hours on the road today leaving Norway and into Sweden. Lots of very pretty lakes and farming on the rolling hills. Mainly dairy type farming and corn in this area. Karlstad is a pretty town but there are not a lot of historical things to visit. The church dates back to 1737. There are lots of pretty waterways and canals.
