... approached and sent us scurrying to the car. Despite the rain we ahd fun and returned to the hotel for the soup and salad and a other good nights sleep ( a few glasses of red later for medicinal purposes) before heading for Stockholm in the morrow.

Overcast but not raining, after breakfast it's off to Stockholm for 4 days. My brother Terry said he could not think what we could do for more than 2 days there...we'll find out.

We spent Sunday visiting the Turku castle - had a guided tour which was very interesting. After the guided tour part we checked out the rest of the castle rooms we were allowed in as well as the museum attached - 39 or so rooms - after approx.25 we were looking for the way out - interesting stuff but you can only see so much old stuff. We then went to a restaurant called the Viking Restaurant ...

... So we bundled up in 3 layers of pants each, 3 layers on top, then huge winter jackets. Then we went tobagganing down a steep little hill and then we spent the next hour jumping in huge snow drifts. Wanted to make the most of our last time in snow for a while. We had a great dinner with Fridas mom and dad and played games all night.

New Year's day we packed our bags and we headed to Stockholm, to catch our flight at 7 A.M. Saturday Morning.
