... gave me some time to do the exciting stuff like catch up on our laundry! I did manage to have a wander around Greenwich, Blackheath and Lewisham as well before meeting up with Francesco at Borough Markets in town for a drink at the end of the day. That part of London is just buzzing, there has been so much development and, of course, with the sun out Londoners are in a celebratory mood!

... was good start to the catch ups!

A dinner had been arranged for the night for overall catchups. With everyone in tow we all met down at Clapham High St since that was the easiest for everyone to get to. Turned out that it was the same place we had been with Richie and Tess a year ago when we were drinking in one of the pubs in Clapham! Strange occurrence, but the food is really nice so nae complaints.

... Museum. (Kate Middleton looks amazing in her portrait.). Then to lunch at Pret a Manger which is London's version of Panera. We stopped at a half price ticket booth and got Billy Elliott tickets for tomorrow night. We then went to St Paul's Cathedral where we walked 500 stairs to the top of the dome and stood on top with rain pouring on us. We then walked across the bridge to Shakespeare's Globe Theater and then to the Tate Museum for some hot coffee and tea. Then to ...
