The final day just needed a small 'push a little harder'. With the benefit of hindsight, I really don't know how I finished the walk last year. This time I had no blisters, none, zero, zilch, and apart from tired legs, no real pain. Last year I succeeded through the use of heavy duty pain-killers and sheer determination. Oct 6th - Day 2 of cruising.
Yesterday we had 3 locks, today will be only 2. we see similar sceneries as yesterday but also a couple of quite industrious cities. We lunch upstairs with the captain - yesterday we had flavored burger patties prepared by the Maasbracht butcher and today, cold cut sandwiches on dark rye bread.
