... Enschede town centre; a very busy and pleasant place; even the Navigator managed to buy 2 bikinis! Even managed to persuade her to get into the heated pool on the site. However, it wasn't heated enough for liking so the experience was short lived...hey ho!

An evening cycle and then packed, ready for the off to meet Adam and Josie near Brugge tomorrow.

... Evans would have been proud of us!! The museum itself is a wonderful private collection of indoor and outdoor art including a Van Gogh exhibition which restored our confidence in this Dutch master. Great collection and well worth a couple of hours wandering about. Today we went back home, not by bike, because of my flat tire. Matthijs took the train to Amersfoort and from there the bus to Scherpenzeel and then picked up the car and drove back to Zeewolde. I stood in Zeewolde with our stuff. When I was waiting I made a campfire and chat with the other camper. Later there came more people, 2 dads with there sons. Oct 6th - Day 2 of cruising.
Yesterday we had 3 locks, today will be only 2. we see similar sceneries as yesterday but also a couple of quite industrious cities. We lunch upstairs with the captain - yesterday we had flavored burger patties prepared by the Maasbracht butcher and today, cold cut sandwiches on dark rye bread. We have nother long day to sail: 7-8 hours, going to Zutphen. The challenge will be to make a couple of needle pin turns. The first from the ...
