Tja so ist das eben, manchmal geht es einfach nicht weiter. Das Unwetter über den Philippinen hat ziemliche Ausdauer und wird uns wohl noch weiter beschäftigen. ... and they promised to email us to let us know how they went. They made it and left a note for us at reception wishing us luck. We loved their note and we could not have been more excited about the climb. The Swedes then sent an email a couple of days later thanking us for a few tips for KK and giving us some very important tips for the climb. They told us we needed two pairs of gloves each. We had not planned on gloves at all, but we followed their advice, and ...

...! But no, the boat arrived with the German guys on and I was saved. They had spent the day up in the trees on their island because of the biting sandflies! They said it was impossible to sit on the beach and that had spoiled their day. They were ok snorkelling of course but had spent a lot of money and wished they had stayed with me for a fiver for a better day! They were so jealous, one up for the English! I was keen to get over to the east ...
