    ... backtracking and walking involved and who knows what ruthless taxi negotiating. Arriving at the property the owner isn't there. He is off 'shopping' so I dose up on hot coffee and sit outside soaking up the night-time views of Mt KK from the deck area. magic!!!!!!!

    ... together all of the way with a stop for lunch at the usual grotty (I wouldn't eat food here if you paid me) cafe. The scenery was beautiful passing Mt Kinabalu, typical Borneo jungle and Palm Oil Plantations that went on for miles. Its a huge industry in Borneo providing the main source of income.     ... but at least I beat Sharif! We then headed back to the hotel to get ready for the evening. Tonight we were persuaded by Ahmed to go to the night market. A huge array of stalls selling fish, meat, fruit and veg as well lots of bbq places to eat.     We had an early start this morning in order to get to the orangutan rehabilitation centre at the Rasa Ria nature reserve, which is in the grounds of a very nice hotel, for 9.30 am. Grace and I were very excited for today! Once we arrived, there was an educational video about the centre and how they rehabilitate orphaned baby orangutans ready for life back in the wild.
