    White as snow...

A travel blog entry by christie-lee on Mar 12, 2015

... the people close me were dark shadows so I gave my skis back and sat in the cafe for the day which I have to say was a wise choice!! A few people were injured nothing serious though! Met some cool guys from Brighton, London and one of them injured his arm so I think I made the right choice! Today I am going to look around the city of Innsbruck...its a small city with lots of shops so I don't know if there is much for tourists to do besides ski and snowboard but I'm going to find out for ...

    A day out in Innsbruck!

A travel blog entry by nicolapollard on Mar 01, 2015

... it is closer to Switzerland which was my next stop so I decided to get on that. Before I left I was able to wash all my clothes and pick up my ripped pants from the shop. So at 4pm I said goodbye to everyone that was left, including Kat, and took the shuttle to Innsbruck. As soon as I was on the bus I fell asleep! So tired! Another guy from the contiki was also going to Innsbruck so we booked the same hostel. We got dropped off on the ...

We have told everyone they need to come and have one of ours! And then a mousse to finish. We have an incredibly long and early day tomorrow to get to Venice so we are all going to bed pretty early. Today was a bit of a short day but we still did a fair bit. 3 countries in 1 day is not too bad!! Good night all and will talk tomorrow ...

Today we are off to Innsbrook which requires a couple of hours on a train, If wifi allows I may be able to update his thing. Weather looks fine, and to be honest I don't think the cold has made much difference to us anyway, in fact we would rather see snow than sitting as the locals say a perfect 4 or 5. And what you know eh, the Swarovski Factory in Innsbrook is closed for renovations right now, damn. But the factory shop in town is open. We hope to get ...

    Our first ski lesson

... pros and were not used at all in our lesson - don't bother hiring them on day one.

From here our ski school are took us and the rest of the people in our group up to the gondola, which took us up to the school's base and beginner slope on nordkette mountain.

We had an hour to kill, so Dan taught himself to ski while I made a dick of myself and decide to sit on the sideline and wait for the instructor.

The views from here over the ...
